1. ਬਹੁ ਤਾਲ ਪੂਰੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਵਜਾਏ ॥ Raga Maajh 3, Asatpadee 21, 6:1 (P: 122).
ਪਾਵਹੁ ਬੇੜੀ ਹਾਥਹੁ ਤਾਲ ॥ (ਤਾੜੀ). Raga Bhairo, Naamdev, 10, 12:1 (P: 1166).
2. ਤਾਲ ਮਦੀਰੇ ਘਟ ਕੇ ਘਾਟ ॥ Raga Aaasaa 1, 4, 1:1 (P: 349).
3. ਪੂਰੇ ਤਾਲ ਜਾਣੈ ਸਾਲਾਹ ॥ (ਸਿਫਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਜਾਣੇ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਤਾਲ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਾਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ). Raga Aaasaa 1, 6, 1:1 (P: 350).
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਰਖਿ ਰਖਿ ਚਰਣ ਹਰਿ ਤਾਲ ਪੂਰਈਆਂ ॥ Raga Bilaaval 4, Asatpadee 3, 5:2 (P: 835).
4. ਜਿਨਿ ਉਦਮੁ ਕੀਆ ਤਾਲ ਕੇਰਾ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਿਆ ਗਨੀ ॥ Raga Soohee 5, Chhant 10, 3:4 (P: 784).
ਸਭ ਦਿਸੈ ਹਰੀਆਵਲੀ ਸਰ ਭਰੇ ਸੁਭਰ ਤਾਲ ॥ Raga Malaar 1, Vaar 1, Salok, 3, 1:2 (P: 1279).
5. ਕਬੀਰ ਕਾਲਿ ਕਰੰਤਾ ਅਬਹਿ ਕਰੁ ਅਬ ਕਰਤਾ ਸੁਇ ਤਾਲ ॥ Salok, Kabir, 138:1 (P: 1371).
6. ਕੇਤੇ ਨਚਹਿ ਮੰਗਤੇ ਗਿੜਿ ਮੁੜਿ ਪੂਰਹਿ ਤਾਲ ॥ Raga Aaasaa 1, Vaar 4, Salok, 1, 2:3 (P: 464).
