ਭੈਰਉ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ भैरउ महला ५ ॥ Bʰæro mėhlaa 5. Bhairao, Fifth Mehl: ਮੋਹਿ ਦੁਹਾਗਨਿ ਆਪਿ ਸੀਗਾਰੀ ॥ मोहि दुहागनि आपि सीगारी ॥ Mohi ḋuhaagan aap seegaaree. I was discarded and abandoned, but He has embellished me. ਰੂਪ ਰੰਗ ਦੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥ रूप रंग दे नामि सवारी ॥ Roop rang ḋé naam savaaree. He has blessed me with beauty and His Love; through His Name, I am exalted. ਮਿਟਿਓ ਦੁਖੁ ਅਰੁ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਤਾਪ ॥ मिटिओ दुखु अरु सगल संताप ॥ Miti▫o ḋukʰ ar sagal sanṫaap. All my pains and sorrows have been eradicated. ਗੁਰ ਹੋਏ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਈ ਬਾਪ ॥੧॥ गुर होए मेरे माई बाप ॥१॥ Gur ho▫é méré maa▫ee baap. ||1|| The Guru has become my Mother and Father. ||1|| ਸਖੀ ਸਹੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਗ੍ਰਸਤਿ ਅਨੰਦ ॥ सखी सहेरी मेरै ग्रसति अनंद ॥ Sakʰee sahéree méræ garsaṫ anand. O my friends and companions, my household is in bliss. ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਭੇਟੇ ਮੋਹਿ ਕੰਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ करि किरपा भेटे मोहि कंत ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Kar kirpaa bʰété mohi kanṫ. ||1|| rahaa▫o. Granting His Grace, my Husband Lord has met me. ||1||Pause|| ਤਪਤਿ ਬੁਝੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਭ ਆਸਾ ॥ तपति बुझी पूरन सभ आसा ॥ Ṫapaṫ bujʰee pooran sabʰ aasaa. The fire of desire has been extinguished, and all my desires have been fulfilled. ਮਿਟੇ ਅੰਧੇਰ ਭਏ ਪਰਗਾਸਾ ॥ मिटे अंधेर भए परगासा ॥ Mité anḋʰér bʰa▫é pargaasaa. The darkness has been dispelled, and the Divine Light blazes forth. ਅਨਹਦ ਸਬਦ ਅਚਰਜ ਬਿਸਮਾਦ ॥ अनहद सबद अचरज बिसमाद ॥ Anhaḋ sabaḋ achraj bismaaḋ. The Unstruck Sound-current of the Shabad, the Word of God, is wondrous and amazing! ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਰਸਾਦ ॥੨॥ गुरु पूरा पूरा परसाद ॥२॥ Gur pooraa pooraa parsaaḋ. ||2|| Perfect is the Grace of the Perfect Guru. ||2|| ਜਾ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਭਏ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥ जा कउ प्रगट भए गोपाल ॥ Jaa ka▫o pargat bʰa▫é gopaal. That person, unto whom the Lord reveals Himself - ਤਾ ਕੈ ਦਰਸਨਿ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥ ता कै दरसनि सदा निहाल ॥ Ṫaa kæ ḋarsan saḋaa nihaal. by the Blessed Vision of his Darshan, I am forever enraptured. ਸਰਬ ਗੁਣਾ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥ सरब गुणा ता कै बहुतु निधान ॥ Sarab guṇaa ṫaa kæ bahuṫ niḋʰaan. He obtains all virtues and so many treasures. ਜਾ ਕਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਓ ਨਾਮੁ ॥੩॥ जा कउ सतिगुरि दीओ नामु ॥३॥ Jaa ka▫o saṫgur ḋee▫o naam. ||3|| The True Guru blesses him with the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||3|| ਜਾ ਕਉ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥ जा कउ भेटिओ ठाकुरु अपना ॥ Jaa ka▫o bʰéti▫o tʰaakur apnaa. That person who meets with his Lord and Master - ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸੀਤਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਨਾ ॥ मनु तनु सीतलु हरि हरि जपना ॥ Man ṫan seeṫal har har japnaa. his mind and body are cooled and soothed, chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋ ਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਏ ॥ कहु नानक जो जन प्रभ भाए ॥ Kaho Naanak jo jan parabʰ bʰaa▫é. Says Nanak, such a humble being is pleasing to God; ਤਾ ਕੀ ਰੇਨੁ ਬਿਰਲਾ ਕੋ ਪਾਏ ॥੪॥੧੪॥੨੭॥ ता की रेनु बिरला को पाए ॥४॥१४॥२७॥ Ṫaa kee rén birlaa ko paa▫é. ||4||14||27|| only a rare few are blessed with the dust of his feet. ||4||14||27||
