ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ गउड़ी महला ५ ॥ Ga▫oṛee mėhlaa 5. Gauree, Fifth Mehl: ਏਕਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਤਾ ॥ एकसु सिउ जा का मनु राता ॥ Ékas si▫o jaa kaa man raaṫaa. Those whose minds are imbued with the One Lord, ਵਿਸਰੀ ਤਿਸੈ ਪਰਾਈ ਤਾਤਾ ॥੧॥ विसरी तिसै पराई ताता ॥१॥ visree ṫisæ paraa▫ee ṫaaṫaa. ||1|| forget to feel jealous of others. ||1|| ਬਿਨੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਨ ਦੀਸੈ ਕੋਈ ॥ बिनु गोबिंद न दीसै कोई ॥ Bin gobinḋ na ḋeesæ ko▫ee. They see none other than the Lord of the Universe. ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ ਕਰਤਾ ਸੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ करन करावन करता सोई ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Karan karaavan karṫaa so▫ee. ||1|| rahaa▫o. The Creator is the Doer, the Cause of all causes. ||1||Pause|| ਮਨਹਿ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬੋਲੈ ॥ मनहि कमावै मुखि हरि हरि बोलै ॥ Manėh kamaavæ mukʰ har har bolæ. Those who work willingly, and chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har - ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਇਤ ਉਤ ਕਤਹਿ ਨ ਡੋਲੈ ॥੨॥ सो जनु इत उत कतहि न डोलै ॥२॥ So jan iṫ uṫ kaṫėh na dolæ. ||2|| they do not waver, here or hereafter. ||2|| ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਸੋ ਸਚ ਸਾਹੁ ॥ जा कै हरि धनु सो सच साहु ॥ Jaa kæ har ḋʰan so sach saahu. Those who possess the wealth of the Lord are the true bankers. ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਨੋ ਵਿਸਾਹੁ ॥੩॥ गुरि पूरै करि दीनो विसाहु ॥३॥ Gur pooræ kar ḋeeno visaahu. ||3|| The Perfect Guru has established their line of credit. ||3|| ਜੀਵਨ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇਆ ॥ जीवन पुरखु मिलिआ हरि राइआ ॥ Jeevan purakʰ mili▫aa har raa▫i▫aa. The Giver of life, the Sovereign Lord King meets them. ਨਾਮੁ ਭਗਤ ਕੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥ नामु भगत कै प्रान अधारु ॥ Naam bʰagaṫ kæ paraan aḋʰaar. The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the Support of the breath of life of His devotees.
