ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੫ ॥ सलोक मः ५ ॥ Salok mėhlaa 5. Shalok, Fifth Mehl: ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਅਰੁ ਅੰਤਿ ਪਰਮੇਸਰਿ ਰਖਿਆ ॥ आदि मधि अरु अंति परमेसरि रखिआ ॥ Aaḋ maḋʰ ar anṫ parmésar rakʰi▫aa. In the beginning, in the middle and in the end, the Transcendent Lord has saved me. ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦਿਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਚਖਿਆ ॥ सतिगुरि दिता हरि नामु अमृतु चखिआ ॥ Saṫgur ḋiṫaa har naam amriṫ chakʰi▫aa. The True Guru has blessed me with the Lord’s Name, and I have tasted the Ambrosial Nectar. ਸਾਧਾ ਸੰਗੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਰਵੈ ॥ साधा संगु अपारु अनदिनु हरि गुण रवै ॥ Saaḋʰaa sang apaar an▫ḋin har guṇ ravæ. In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, I chant the Glorious Praises of the Lord, night and day. ਪਾਏ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਸਭਿ ਜੋਨੀ ਨਹ ਭਵੈ ॥ पाए मनोरथ सभि जोनी नह भवै ॥ Paa▫é manoraṫʰ sabʰ jonee nah bʰavæ. I have obtained all my objectives, and I shall not wander in reincarnation again. ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਹਥਿ ਕਾਰਣੁ ਜੋ ਕਰੈ ॥ सभु किछु करते हथि कारणु जो करै ॥ Sabʰ kichʰ karṫé haṫʰ kaaraṇ jo karæ. Everything is in the Hands of the Creator; He does what is done. ਜਿਨਿ ਜਨਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਖਸਮੁ ਤਿਨਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ जिनि जनि धिआइआ खसमु तिनि सुखु पाइआ ॥ Jin jan ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa kʰasam ṫin sukʰ paa▫i▫aa. Whoever meditates on the Lord and Master obtains peace. ਤਿਸ ਨੋ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਇ ਜਿਨਿ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥ तिस नो मंनि वसाइ जिनि उपाइआ ॥ Ṫis no man vasaa▫é jin upaa▫i▫aa. Enshrine Him in your mind, the One who created you.
