Aḋʰee. 1. ਬੁੱਧੀਹੀਨ ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਸਾਧਾਰਨ/ਭੋਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਇਸ ਦੇ ਅਰਥ ‘ਅਧੀ ਘੜੀ’ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਲਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ: ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਕੋਸ਼)। 2. ਸਾਬਤ/ਪੂਰੇ ਦੋ ਦੋ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਕ। 1. simpleton, unwise, ignoramus; half a second. 2. half, fifty percent.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਅਧੀ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥ Raga Dhanaasaree 1, 6, 4:3 (P: 662).
2. ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਪੁਰਿ ਅਧੀ ਹੋਈ ॥ Raga Maaroo 1, Solhaa 4, 8:1 (P: 1023).
