(ਚੇਤੋ) ਨਾਮ/n. ਚੈਤਨ੍ਯ ਆਤਮਾ. ਦੇਖੋ- ਕਾਇਥੁ ਚੇਤੂ। 2. ਇੱਕ ਮਸੰਦ, ਜੋ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਦੇ ਹ਼ਜ਼ੂਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ. ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਕਰਮੀ ਜਾਣਕੇ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ. ਭਾਈ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਵਸਤ੍ਰ ਆਦਿ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਮਾਤਾਜੀ ਲਈ ਚੇਤੂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ. ਇਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਦਿੱਤਾ. ਜਦ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹ਼ਜ਼ੂਰ ਆਇਆ, ਤਦ ਚੇਤੂ ਦਾ ਪਾਜ ਖੁਲਗਿਆ.
