1. ਸੁਣਿਐ ਪੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਕਾਲੁ ॥ Japujee, Guru Nanak Dev, 8:4 (P: 2).
ਬਿਖਿਆ ਪੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਈ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਹੁ ॥ Raga Maajh 5, Baaraa Maaha-Maajh, 11:4 (P: 135).
ਆਪਣੈ ਘਰਿ ਤੂ ਸੁਖ ਵਸਹਿ ਪੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ਜੀਉ ॥ (ਭਾਵ ਡਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ. Raga Vadhans 3, Chhant 3, 1:2 (P: 569).
2. ਰੁਤਿ ਸਿਸੀਅਰ ਸੀਤਲ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਮੰਘਰ ਪੋਹਿ ਜੀਉ ॥ Raga Raamkalee 5, Rutee Salok, 6:1 (P: 929).
