Béṇee. 1. ਬੇਣੀ ਭਗਤ। 2. ਤ੍ਰਿਬੇਣੀ (ਗੰਗਾ, ਜਮਨਾ ਤੇ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ) ਦਾ ਸੰਗਮ। 1. one of the saint whose Bani has been included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib. 2. confluence of three rivers viz., Ganga Jamuna and Saraswati.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਬੇਣੀ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਰੇ ਭਗਤਹੁ ਮਰਨ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਕਿਨਿ ਪਾਈ ॥ Raga Sireeraag, Bennee, 1, 5:4 (P: 99).
ਬੇਣੀ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਓ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸੁ ॥ Raga Basant 5, Asatpadee 1, 5:3 (P: 1192).
2. ਗੰਗਾ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਬੇਣੀ ਸੰਗਮੁ ਅਠਸਠਿ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਈ ਹੇ ॥ Raga Maaroo 1, Solhaa 2, 9:3 (P: 1022).
