Barahmchaaree. ਇੰਦ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਫਿਰਕਾ। one who practices his knowledge withholding sense organs.
ਉਦਾਹਰਨ:
ਸਨਿਆਸੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ॥ Raga Sireeraag 5, Asatpadee 27, 3:2 (P: 71).
ਪਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਅ ਤਿਆਗੁ ਕਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ॥ Raga Gaurhee 4, 39, 2:2 (P: 164).
